This app is soooo awesome!!! I am sooo happy that I can interactively participate in my childs daily education. This completely opens the professional lines of communication for the parents to communicate with teachers

The app has some good info, but it would be nice if it was more similar in look to the student app. Also, the best feature on the web version is the calendar. That should be on the student app and the parent app.

I dont understand how this app can get more than one star. If I could rate it zero, I would. Despite having notifications turned on, the app doesnt give any alert when the teacher posts. Further, parents are unable to reply or message the teacher at all within Edmodo so this is absolutely pointless for communication purposes. Finally, there are things that can be posted to just the kids from the teacher, from a parent account you cannot see those posts - so how is that helpful for parents? If you want a way to get random teacher updates from an app that you have to remember to check daily and you dont ever want to talk with your childs teacher, then Edmodo is perfect for your family.

I cant see any of the current posts by teachers or students. I have to use my sons app to see what theyre working on

Id give this a negative zero if I could! The parents app does not allow you to join a class and does not notify you when teachers have posted assignments. I have to log in as my kids to know what the heck is going on. Very poor app!

Completely useless. I dont receive notifications, even though I have it set to do so. There have been several teacher posts to my sons account in the last three days that do not appear on the parent app. If the accounts are linked, they should be synced. Useless.

I use this app on my iPhone. It works great for me because I just want to check quickly what the assignments are for the night before I walk in the door from work. I have my 2 children on the same account and can add more if necessary which is a good feature. I hit the icon on my phone and boom...up pops all the assignments. You can post right to their comments through it too. So I recommend it for a parent that wants to check on assignments on the fly.

Handy for parents to follow up with students activities

I love being able to keep up with my kids grades.

This app isnt anything like the picture shows. The student version is way better.

I am sure this app makes a teachers life easier, thats clearly their focus and their customer but for students and parents is terrible, poor functionality. Poor user interface. It doesnt even work as the teacher personally explained to me. But then I only use it because I am forced to. I am not the target customer even though I am the one that pays for the education of my children.

Good app. As long as the teachers post it. It works as long as the teachers use it too. Very useful. Easy to use.

Totally useless. Not worth the time I spent downloading it.

Gives very little info, no alerts when teacher updates AND you are not able to ask to remember login.

The Parent app does not state the same info as the students! When we try to check this for homework, we have to go in under our students name, therefore, what is the point of having a parent app? The students app is not always updated when it is time to start homework! This is not a beneficial app for students that suffer from ADHD! An easy "go to" resource for busy teachers.

I am so frustrated with this app. I cant change any settings, establish my own password, or join groups that my school has created and sent out the code for parents to use. I have gone back and forth with school personnel and they dont even know how to use the app much less instruct the parents. But they sure do want you to utilize it. Too young for gray hair, too much to do rather than spend two hours of my day trying to access this information. Unfortunately, I dont give this app much faith in allowing parents to fully communicate with teachers as it advertises. Back to the drawing board guys.

Helpful to have assignments and quizzes by due date and now more details, like grades and file attachments. Already seeing great improvements!
